NAPE@50 Strategic Session: Pioneering the Future of Energy in Africa

On 14th August, the industry stood still to celebrate the landmark NAPE@50 event held in Lagos. It was a truly memorable occasion, graced by distinguished speakers including the NUPRC Chief Executive, NNPCL EVP Upstream, Renaissance Board Chairman, the AA Holdings Executive Chairman, CEOs/MDs of Chevron Nigeria Ltd, TotalEnergies Nigeria, Seplat Energy PLC, and Renaissance Africa Energy Company, SLB Nigeria Country Director, NMGS President, SPE Council Chair, as well as our 1st and 2nd NAPE Presidents.

The speakers delivered insightful reflections on the history of Nigeria's oil and gas industry, NAPE's pivotal role over the past 50 years, and a forward-looking roadmap for a sustainable energy future in Nigeria and Africa, with NAPE at the forefront for the next 50 years.

In attendance were founding members, many past presidents, distinguished fellows, NAPE executives and esteemed members, young professionals, notable senior executives, industry captains, academia, and other stakeholders across the energy value chain.
