As part of the last phase of the 2022 charity walk – the first of its kind, NAPE visited the motherless babies home on Kenneth Agbakuru, Lekki Lagos State to present the proceeds from the charity walk. In attendance were: The NAPE President – Mr. Elliot Ibie, The Publicity Secretary- Mr. Austin Mgbemere, the Assistant Editor-in-Chief – Dr. Sunday Amoyedo, Mrs. Somime Oguntola, Friends of NAPE and NAPE Staff.
We were warmly received by the staff of the motherless babies’ home. The NAPE President then briefly introduced NAPE, the essence of the charity walk, and the reason for the visitation. He then presented the gift items and the cash donation to them. The Staff of the orphanage home expressed their immense appreciation to NAPE for this kind gesture.
The Charity walk is a part of the activities included in NAPE’s corporate social activities for the promotion of the well-being, mental and physical health of people. It is now a tradition and will be conducted a few weeks before the conference commences. We hope to have high entry/participation in the subsequent year. Photographs were taken and we proceeded to see some of the children.
