The Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), led by President Mr. Johnbosco Uche, FNAPE, paid a courtesy visit to Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Executive Secretary, Arc. Sonny Echono, FNIA (represented by Dr. Salihu Girei Bakari, Director of Research & Development/Centres of Excellence).
Discussions focused on building human capacity through student training opportunities, building of storage laboratories for core samples and establishing research and development centers.
Dr. Bakari highlighted TETFund ongoing projects in research and development (R&D) , provision of in-country storage laboratories for core samples and expressed commitment to collaborating with NAPE to create a center of excellence for petroleum resources, targeting specialized expertise development.
