Dear NAPE member,
I believe you and your loved ones are keeping safe and observing all the COVID-19 prevention guidelines from the CDC?
I’m looking forward to NAPE’s Annual International Conference and Exhibition (AICE) in November and hope you all plan to join me in the VIRTUAL conference and I intend to spotlight different events on a frequent basis, from now till the conference takes place.
Today’s spotlight is on the pre-conference VIRTUAL FIELD TRIP (VFT) as one of the ‘must attend’ events of this year’s conference. NAPE in conjunction with WIGE have used a combination of available technology and the skills of several NAPE members to design and teach this virtual field trip entitled:
Coastal Environments: Relating Modern Day Processes to Sedimentary Successions.
This program promises to be a very enriching one and it showcases the ‘can do’ spirit in all of us.
I encourage you all to attend, and if possible sponsor some students as well.
