NAPE Strengthens Collaboration with Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo)

The President of the Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Johnbosco Uche, FNAPE, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), Ronald Adams.

 

In his remarks, President Mr Johnbosco Uche commended Shell for its long-standing presence and continued investment in Nigeria, emphasizing that “there are still vast opportunities in the country’s energy sector.” He expressed deep appreciation to MD Adams for the company’s consistent support to NAPE and the nation, particularly in sponsoring events, investing in human capital development, and encouraging staff participation in association activities and leadership roles.

 

He further lauded SNEPCo’s recent donation of workstations to selected universities across Nigeria through NAPE, describing it as a testament to the company’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of energy professionals.

 

The visit aimed to strengthen the existing partnership between NAPE and SNEPCo, with a shared goal of advancing oil and gas exploration, resource development, and capacity building.

 

Also in attendance was NAPE President-Elect, Mrs. Olajumoke Cecilia Ajayi, FNAPE, who extended invitation to MD Ronald Adams to attend the upcoming 2025 NAPE Annual International Conference scheduled for November.

 

In his response, MD Ronald Adams appreciated the NAPE leadership for the visit and reaffirmed SNEPCo’s commitment to sustaining its partnership and support for the association’s initiatives.
