Message to NAPE Members on Dues Payment

Dear Esteemed Member of NAPE,

With over 50 years of NAPE’s existence, it is important that we reflect on where we stand and where we hope to go, so that we can uphold the legacies laid by our founding members.

Being strategically positioned for growth requires our collective commitment especially in achieving financial stability. Our records reveal that we are currently under financial strain. This challenge threatens our ability to deliver value, expand our programs, and safeguard the legacy entrusted to us.

Today, NAPE has 16,525 registered members, comprising 12,160 student members and about 3,900 active members. However, our records show that only about 3,485 members (21% of total membership) are financially active. This is not sustainable for an association of our size, age, mission, and potential.

NAPE cannot grow on its own. It requires the commitment of each one of us. The least contribution we can make is to pay our annual dues, which are essential to running the Association, supporting our chapters, funding some of our events, and strengthening our professional community.

In line with our constitution, and after extensive deliberation, we will begin enforcing the clause that allows for the delisting of non-dues-paying members. This is necessary to protect the integrity and accountability of our membership structure.

However, in the spirit of fairness and inclusiveness, we are granting a 3-month grace period for all members to become financially up-to-date. This grace period will expire on 31st March 2026. After this date, the delisting process will be activated.

I urge every member to act now. Your dues are not just payments, they are an investment in the future of NAPE, in our profession, and in the community that supports us all.

Together, we can build the NAPE we envision-strong, sustainable, and worthy of its 50-year legacy.

Our Secretariat will communicate your outstanding dues and guide you through the payment process. Please contact NAPE Membership & Technical Officer, Mayowa Ajayi on 08020729495, or email: [email protected] for assistance.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Olajumoke Ajayi, FNAPE

NAPE President (2025/2026)
