NAPE is seeking a motivated and tech-savvy intern to support our team and provide support in the areas of Information Technology (IT), website management, and media content. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment while contributing to various aspects of our digital presence and technological infrastructure.
Remotely provide basic technical assistance to employees for various IT tools and systems.
Collaborate with IT team members on projects and tasks as needed.
Assist in updating and maintaining the associations website’s content and layout.
Work with the publicity team to create and upload new content, images, and videos to the website.
Continuously update the website with events and activities of the association in real time.
Perform basic HTML and CSS edits to improve website aesthetics and functionality.
Monitor website performance and user experience, reporting any issues to the appropriate team members.
Collaborate with designers and developers to implement changes and enhancements.
Assist in creating and editing multimedia content such as videos, images, and graphics.
Help manage the organization’s media library and ensure assets are organized and accessible.
Support social media initiatives by responding to comments and engaging with the online community.
Assist with the development and execution of media campaigns to promote initiatives of NAPE.
Stay up-to-date with current trends in digital media and suggest innovative ideas for content creation.
Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Geology, Web Development, etc.).
Strong interest in IT, website management, and digital media.
Basic understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting.
Familiarity with web content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) is a plus.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS for basic website edits.
Experience with graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro) preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Availability to work a flexible schedule if required.
Gain practical experience in IT support, website management, and digital media.
